is in ongoing need of knitters to make sweater sets sz 0-3, months, or 3-6 months, also baby blankets and baby hats. Contact Donna at kyewich@gmail.com

2nd Floor South at the Hospital or Silverstone Care Centre:
Volunteers are always gratefully received. Whether it is to help out with birthday parties or friendly visiting, the more the merrier. Once a month or once a week - whatever you can manage. Contact me and I can put you in touch with the appropriate person at the site you prefer. mhamblin@telus.net

SCHA Board Executive:

Additional Executive Officers are always needed. Basic skills required are computer aptitude and a team player. Many hands make light work! And our other Executive positions are available too - Treasurer, Secretary or Publicity. A succession plan is required for all positions. Training is provided.

FEBRUARY

The Education and Social Committee has organized a Valentine Tea to celebrate the SCHA's love and affection for its members! There will be a meeting portion where you can find out what’s been going on and plans for the future as well as some fun activities to connect and reconnect with our Auxiliary family. Dress for a tea with a fancy hat or gloves etc. :)

Food and Beverages at the Tea - Will be provided by “Spot of Tea” from Gibsons who do pop-up tea parties. As you can see from the photo there will be tea, scones, clotted cream and jam. If you have food allergies or sensitivities you will need to contact me directly - in advance. See above for my contact info.

Spring Conference

Venue - Vernon @ Prestige Vernon Lodge

We are awaiting information from BCAHA for more details of the Conference. Ten rooms have been tentatively booked (2 people/room) If someone does not want to share then they would have to book their own room be reimbursed for only for ½ the room fee (this may change as depends on number of attendees).
