We are filled with so much gratitude and love for the SC Healthcare Auxiliary for their unbounded generosity to Community Services!

This week, six of our programs received grants from the latest round of funding totalling $54,000. Every year, SCHA issues grants of up to $10,000 in support of community initiatives that offer health benefits for residents of the Sunshine Coast. These grants will help us deliver healthy meals, strengthen families, support dads, engage children with diverse needs, and assist seniors living independently – creating meaningful impact across the Sunshine Coast.

Pictured here are Karen Archer, Warren Jones and Jacqui Jones-Cox from the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary, presenting cheques to each of the following programs:

❤ Arrowhead Clubhouse – $10,000
❤ Dads Matter – $10,000
❤ Kids In Motion – $6,000
❤ Bellies and Babies – $10,000
❤ Parent-Tot Drop-In – $8,000

❤ Better at Home – $10,000

“The ongoing support the Sunshine Coast Hospital Auxiliary provides vital funding to SCCSS which allows our organization to continue to offer important programming to our community. From all of us at Sunshine Coast Community Service, THANK YOU!”, says Denise Woodley, Director of Program and Staff Development.

Thank you, SCHA, for helping us plant the seeds of happiness, hope, success and love to build an engaged and thriving community!
