On Thursday October 15 Anne Selder and Karen Biddlecombe met with activity co-ordinator Anne Mathewson of Sechelt hospital’s 2^nd Floor South to donate sewing supplies for the residents.

The SCHA and the Sunshine Coast Quilt Guild again joined forces to provide a sewing machine, cutting boards, rotary cutter, needles and thread and fabrics at Anne’s request, so that residents can try their hand at making their own crafts such as placemats. The sewing machine originally was gifted to the SCHA Thrift Store and Karen was tasked with finding a good home for it – what better home could there be but with the sewers of 2nd floor south!
