Lauren Tindall, Director of Sechelt (shíshálh) Hospital, hosted a heartfelt ceremony yesterday celebrating the three totem poles that grace the entrance of the Hospital.

Totem carvers Tony Paul and Dion Louie were honoured as was Shane Jackson who created the murals in the hospital lobby. The theme was about pulling together and welcoming the community to our newly named hospital. Remarks were given by representatives of the SCRD and First Nations Communities.
