June 15th marked a significant day in the history of the Auxiliary Thrift Store on the Sunshine Coast.
The sign that proudly displayed the name St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary for many years was replaced with a sign bearing our new name, Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary. The change was to coincide with the change in the name of our local hospital, yet still reflect the diversity of our members who live all along the Sunshine Coast, from Hopkins Landing to Pender Harbour. The original sign will be displayed inside the Thrift Store. Thanks to Vital Signs for doing such a wonderful job under the watchful eyes of our members.
