One of the last projects Warren oversaw was the ordering of a replacement for the Go Shed in the back of the Thrift Store.
The wooden building had been repaired and reinforced over the years, but it was becoming apparent that it would not hold up to the repeated break-ins and vandalism it had been subjected to. The sea-can already in the thrift parking lot has served us well and so another one was ordered. It arrived in early May and was placed in the same location as the previous shed. The old building was expertly loaded by Don Kraus and taken away to its new owner. The new one was placed by the enthusiastic owners from Kare Kraft containers, Ken and Whitney Williams.
It has been in use now for a few weeks, storing go bags securely until they can be taken for recycling by the generous team at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. The new container is slightly smaller than the old shed but will serve our purpose brilliantly.
