Welcome to an amazing group of over 350 volunteers, supporting health care needs on the Sunshine Coast. We have been providing this community service since the first branch was formed in 1937 at Pender Harbour, over 75 years ago.
Our members run an outstanding Thrift Store in Sechelt, as well as a unique Gift Shop located in the hospital lobby. We are the only auxiliary in B.C. to offer a free Loan Cupboard that provides home care items to post-surgical patients and ailing community residents. In addition, our members support in numerous ways residents in extended care.
by providing programs that enhance their experience and ensure that our seniors continue to enjoy as full a life as possible.
I hope you have taken the time to visit our web site, to view our mission statement and see the wide range of services we provide.
By now, you will have now joined one of the four branches of our auxiliary. As with any organization, your own sense of accomplishment will depend upon the effort that you are able to put into it. So enjoy your hospital tour and gain a sense of what choosing to be an auxiliary member will contribute to our community.
Best regards,
Anne Selder,
CEO
