The Botanical Gardens was the setting for the first Fabulous Bridge Luncheon hosted by the Halfmoon Bay branch on May 11.
Although the day was cool and rainy, 15 tables of bridge players enjoyed a scrumptious lunch of fancy sandwiches, sweets, fruit, tea and coffee. A silent auction added to the fun and of course the bridge and socializing was enjoyed by all. Feedback from participants was very positive and plans are already in the works to repeat this event next year.
