HMB Foodbank Funding

The HMB Branch was pleased to provide both Pender Harbour and Sechelt Food Banks with $745 each on December 17.  The funding was provided through cash donations made at our Xmas lunch on Dec. 9 and the rest from some of our bake sale profits! Festive Friday

SCHA Volunteers were out on Friday Dec 6 and Monday Dec 11 adding a festive look to the Sechelt shíshalh Hospital and outbuildings by decorating 9 trees. 60th Year Anniversary of the Land Gifting

The SCHA was invited to celebrate the 60th year anniversary of the land gifting on which the Sechelt shíshalh Hospital now stands. Remembrance Day 2024

Donation to SC Community Services

The Sechelt Branch of the SCHA generously donated $2500 to the Sunshine Coast Community Services Society in support of their Building Together project, a community effort to build 35 units of affordable housing for women and children and a new community hub here in Sechelt. Sechelt Legion donation

Bill McLean President, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 140 presented a cheque from the Poppy Trust Funds to Michelle Chapman and Peter Jordt, volunteers at the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Loan Cupboard.  The donation is meant to support veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, the RCMP and citizens of the Sunshine Coast.
