Our annual Brown Bag lunch was held Monday, March 28.
This was a chance for members from all branches to socialize and celebrate over lunch. As entertainment, the Hopkins branch arranged a Tai Chi demonstration then invited participation from the audience. Many volunteers joined in and we’re led through a very soothing and enjoyable set of moves.
Dr Anthony Barale, head of Mental Health and Addiction Services, provided a very informative and compelling address on the state of mental health and addiction issues on the coast.
Terry Barker thanked the auxiliary with a card and an original poem for all the services provided to the residents of Totem and Shorncliffe.
