The 2026 Spring Conference convened in Vernon on April 21-23 with the participation of nine SCHA members, amid a gathering of approximately 200 members from the British Columbia Association of Healthcare Auxiliaries (BCAHA). The Sunshine Coast members always join in the spirit of these events and Chrisy Kiloh’s photo collage won 1st place in the heart of your community challenge!

As of April 30th, reported costs for the event totaled $4,531, with a final report expected soon.
Additionally, evaluation forms have been submitted to the BCAHA, and discussions are currently in progress to consider the feedback from attendees for future conference planning.
