To provide volunteer services that enhance the quality of healthcare of people living on the Sunshine Coast. To raise funds and encourage community support of the hospital and related healthcare programs.

Driftwood Players Theatre Group began the practice of giving back to the Sunshine Coast community about 3 years ago by donating a particular night's proceeds to a chosen charity. Good news! Together we raised $2,018.94 at the wreath sale December 5 & 6! About $1,750 from wreaths and arrangements, $275 from baking and preserves. The halls of the Sechelt shíshalh Hospital and Mental Health Building in Sechelt have been trimmed for the holidays. A great group of volunteers arrived early in December to decorate 10 trees throughout the buildings. This yearly tradition is welcomed and appreciated by the staff and patients.
This lovely wreath was hand-made by one of our regular customers, using materials she bought at our thrift store. It was given in appreciation for all that we do and was hung on the door to the closet in the kitchen with a heartfelt note from her. We really do have the best customers!
