Over 20 people attended a beautiful Appreciation Tea in honour of Linda Karleen who has volunteered on behalf of the SCHA for 17 years.

She has been an able liaison between Shorncliffe Care Home and Totem Lodge, and now Silverstone Care Centre, facilitating birthday parties for the residents. Linda will continue to be an Auxiliary member and also visit the residents who she has come to know.

Jeremy LaPierre, Recreation Manager, and his able Recreation team organized tea, coffee, juice, wonderful food and champagne for a toast and decorations in the Bistro at Silverstone Care Home that made it a really special event.
